At June, 18th we start our first Permaculture DesignCourse!

Forests, plants and soil bear our future. The earth can no longer sustain the damage caused by industrial agriculture, monocultural forestry, and thoughtless settlement design. We can either ignore the madness of uncontrolled industrial growth or take the path of life and survival.
Permaculture is "permanent agriculture". Its intention is the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems. It is the harmonious integration of landscape and people providing their food, energy, shelter, and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way.
You can learn how to do Permaculture. No matter if you do it in your garden, your terrace, on your balcony or your piece of land. In two days starts the first PDC organised by Seventh Generation. From June 18th to July 2nd 2011 you can attend a two week Permaculture-Design-Course (PDC) at Gut Lamplstätt in Germany with Bernhard Gruber and Christoff Schneider. Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience are equal parts of the Permaculture Design Course. The teachers are well known in their field and provide profound background information about how to develop sustainable eatable landscapes and social living systems.
During the course you will learn how to combine the habitat of humans, animals and plants in a sustainable way by considering the needs of all.
